Friday Finds: Spring Is In The Air
Apparently, as spring is approaching, people are heading to Yahoo Search to get ideas for outdoor activates. We may not be quite there yet in Vermont, but we are getting close.
I thought for my Friday Finds, rather than search Yahoo for spring ideas, I would search our Made in Vermont Team. Thanks to my finds, I am starting to feel energized realizing that Spring is in the Air!
This beautiful pink petal has magical attributes –strength, luck, prosperity and health. After a freezing cold winter, I certainly could use some of that magic.
Where have all the squirrels gone? When I look at Hickory Squirrel’s nut chewed jewelry, I picture a spring day with little squirrel running around my yard. This necklace consists of nut shells once enjoyed by a hungry Vermont Squirrel. The necklace also has amethyst, a stone known as meditative and calming, perfect qualities for sitting outside observing all the new life of spring.
The spring green background, scarlet red buttons arranged around the sunny yellow button looks like flowers. "Life began in a garden." is embroidered with a simple chain stitch. This wall hanging will brighten up any room and looking at it brightens my day as it reminds me that spring is coming our way.
