The (almost annual) Living Arts Festival will be September 7th from 11am to 5pm in Huntington at the Jubilee Farm. There will be artisans, craftspeople, music, entertainment, demonstrations, food (usually a Chicken Bar-B-Q), and lots of people.
Sylvie, her husband, my daughter and myself will have tables there selling our handmade products. Anyone else who is interested can get more information and an application here http://huntingtonvalleyarts.net
Exhibitor's fee is $5 plus 2 hours of volunteering, or $25 without volunteering. A friend or family member may act as your volunteer. Huntington Valley Arts puts on the festival and charges a 10% commission on sales.
Here is a list of activities that count as volunteering:

Pre festival clean-up (Sun. Aug. 31 from 1-3pm)
Posting festival flyers (Aug. 29)
Road signage set-up (Thurs. Sept. 4)

Sylvie and I are very excited about this! Some of us will finally meet in person! This will also be a great opportunity for us to get the word out about Etsy and our Vermont Etsy shops. We can have Etsy info packets, banners, fliers, etc. on our tables.
For those of you who will not able to participate in the festival, but still would like to advertise there, you could make up little promotional bags (i.e. business card and small, inexpensive item you've made) and give them to me or Sylvie to pass out.
If you have any questions, you can post them on the forum under "Living Arts Festival 2008." Also post if you plan to attend the festival, or if you want to have your promotional bags given out at the festival.
Hope to see you there!
Linda
