Featured Shop~Contented Butterfly Farm

Contented Butterfly Farm is a fascinating Etsy shop! Located in Windsor, Jen raises registered Shetland sheep. Shetland sheep's fleeces come in 11 colors! Who knew? Jen says that they are hardy animals with inquisitive nature. They must be wonderful animals because Jen's shop features some of the most beautiful fiber I've ever seen!

This is Wilkins. He's celebrating his 5th shearing. :)

This is Wilkin's roving. It's ready to be spun or felted. Isn't it gorgeous?
This is Celebrian:And this is her roving:It's a lovely chocolate color... from Celebrian's 3rd shearing.

Jen also works with Ruth Ticknor of Sunrise Hill Farm~also in Windsor. Ruth came up with this cutie Needle Felted Pumpkin Kit

How adorable are those little pumpkins? They are so inspiring. I want to make them!

I asked Jen about what's coming up for her and this is what she said, "We, Ruth and I, will be at the Brattleboro Fiber Festival on Saturday, November 1st. This is located at the American Legion Hall in downtown Brattleboro and runs from 10 - 4pm. This will be our last "local" event of the calendar year." Sounds like a really fun place to be!

Stop into Jen's shop. You'll be delighted!
