Hello from yellowdogfarmvt

Hello from windy South Hero!

Even with the touch of snow in the air today, there are hints of spring everywhere around us. We have robins, red winged blackbirds and even spotted a killdeer. We even seem to be a new landing spot for snow and Canada geese. That coupled with our very pudgy and pregnant angora goats - everything points to spring. In a few weeks we will shear the goats and send the fleece off for carding and some off for spinning. More yarn to put on Etsy! And then there will be the kids - lots of kids!
We are going to take part in the Vermont Open Studio Weekend over the Memorial Day weekend. And we are currently working on a close to home Island project: "Discover the Heart of the Islands" Open Farm and Studio Weekend for the weekend of July 12 and 13. Our farm is always open for visitors along with 30+ others in the islands. Look for brochures in May. Come visit us in person or virtually at www.yellowdogfarmvt.com and of course in Etsy, too!
Ellen and Jim - and Zeke - the yellow dog!

Love your goat pic! I bet you could sell that picture. It would make a great background on computers.

Thanks for the idea. We do make note cards for the craft shows and Farmer's Market.
