Come on out to the islands on Saturday and Sunday for Discover the Heart of the Islands Open Farm and Studio Tour! This is a self guided tour of over 30 farmers and artisans from South Hero to Alburgh. This is your chance to get off route 2 and get on to the side roads of Grand Isle County. Maps can be found in stores on the islands as well as at all major rest areas on the highway. Hours are 10:00-5:00 on both Saturday and Sunday. There will be demonstrations of spinning, weaving, throwing pottery, wood turning and much, much more. PLUS - it is a TAX -FREE weekend! And then there are those cute angora goats!
